Guided by the belief that a strong foundation in the arts is essential for emotional, intellectual, and social development, we work to create opportunities for individuals and families to explore their creativity in a supportive, uplifting environment.
Established in 1999 and inspired by the legacy of James Weldon Johnson—a celebrated writer, educator, and champion of social change—JWJCSA offers arts instruction led by professional artists trained at some of the world’s most renowned institutions.
